Art
Carencro Catholic offers Art for Pre-K3 - 6th grade students. In art, an emphasis is placed on the child as creator.
Computer Lab
Our campus houses a computer lab where PreK-4 - 4th grade students attend weekly classes to learn different software programs, internet safety, Google tools, and general computer concepts. The lab currently includes 26 Dell Optiplex Desktops and 2 Laserjet Printers.
Library
Our Carencro Catholic School Library is committed to enriching and supporting the educational objectives of the school curriculum. Our goal is to help students be effective users of information and become lifelong learners. The Librarian will accomplish this through teacher collaboration and student instruction, the teaching of library literacy skills, fostering literature appreciation and promoting social responsibility.
Our library is completely automated. The Librarian holds weekly classes with Pre-K3 through 4th grade students. Middle school students have weekly access to the Library during their ELA class. Students also have access to the library during recess.
All students from 1st – 8th Grade use the Accelerated Reader (AR) Online Program through Renaissance.
Music
Carencro Catholic offers weekly music classes for grades PK3 - 6. In class, students are introduced to the fundamentals of music in a fun and interactive way. We strive to lay the foundation for further exploration and learning.
French
Carencro Catholic offers weekly French classes for grades 1st - 4th and 7th and 8th grades. Students are introduced to the culture of the French heritage while being immersed in the French language through a variety of activities, including Bingo and Cajun dancing.
