School Bells
Drop off begins at 7:25 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:45 a.m. Classes begin at 7:55 a.m. The dismissal bell rings at 2:50 p. m.
Attendance
School is in session for 180 days a year. Students missing more than 20 days total will not be promoted to the next grade, due to not meeting seat minute requirements. Doctor's excuses must be sent to school within three (3) days for an absence to be excused. Students absent from school MAY NOT participate in any athletic or extracurricular activities scheduled for that day.
Extended Care
Before school care begins at 6:30 a.m. After school care is offered from 2:55 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please contact the office at 337-896-8973 for more information.
Services
Title 1 Tutoring is available for qualifying students.
Testing
Grades 3-7 use Terranova for testing. Grade 8 takes the Pre-ACT.
