Carencro Catholic School

As you look at everything that CCS has to offer, I am sure you will see that we are a school where your children can experience a nurturing, Christ-centered atmosphere.

Catholic education has been an integral part of our community since the late 1800s. We are proud of our Catholic tradition and strive to educate our students in the ways of Jesus Christ. Carencro Catholic School currently has an enrollment of 502 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Each pre-kindergarten class has 18 students and our kindergarten through eighth grade classes range in size from 22 to 26 students.

This year’s school-wide theme is “We Are His Hands and Feet.” Our focus is on service to others. Each class developed a service project including collections of toiletries for the Women’s and Children’s Shelter, writing letters and gathering supplies for a mission trip to Mexico, praying for Confirmation candidates, sewing prayer blankets, reading to earn books for needy children, and sacrificing monetary donations for Food For the Poor.

In addition to instruction in core subjects, Carencro Catholic School offers technology, physical education, music, and art classes. Extracurricular activities include athletics, club participation, piano and French classes. Students participate in a Christmas and Spring Play. We have something for everyone!

Carencro Catholic is a wonderful school where students excel academically. More importantly, we fulfill the mission we have undertaken: to mold the future leaders of the Catholic Church.
